What is Bikebox?
BikeBox is an online marketplace built by bike enthusiasts for bike enthusiasts. After our founders, Niko and Evan, encountered exorbitant fees while selling their unwanted bike parts on platforms like eBay, they sought a better solution.
They created a website to sell their own parts and invited others to join them. That’s how BikeBox came to life.
About the Team
BikeBox is run by Niko (left), with the help of Evan (right) for online operations.
In his free time, Niko enjoys working on bikes in the garage, going down to Santa Cruz to ride them, and wrenching on his truck. He started out selling bike parts as a seller on eBay, and BikeBox largely came to fruition due to his frustration with eBay's high fees.
Evan also enjoys mountain biking, albeit he is a bit newer to the sport. He rides an '01 Intense Tracer and loves it! In Evan's free time, he
works on his car, goes hiking, and improves the BikeBox website.

Filters
Many online stores, even large ones like eBay, struggle with poor search filters that are often inaccurate or cluttered with unnecessary information. After conducting extensive research, we’ve ensured that our filters are as precise and user-friendly as possible. Whether you’re looking for chainring BCD, bottom bracket threading, or specific brands, we’ve made sure no standard or company is overlooked.
Feedback
If you’ve sold on eBay, you’re probably familiar with how much they favor buyers.
A buyer can threaten negative feedback to pressure a refund, even in cases where the seller is in the right.
Since most online sellers are bike enthusiasts or small shops—not shady businesses—we decided to level the playing field. Our platform allows sellers to leave negative feedback on buyers if issues arise. Additionally, if you receive negative feedback as a seller, you can offer a full refund to resolve the issue and have the negative feedback removed.
