Final Value Fee

BikeBox Parts charges sellers, not customers, a Final Value Fee on all completed transactions. This fee helps us maintain and improve our marketplace platform, provide customer support, and ensure a secure trading environment for buyers and sellers.

1. Fee Structure

The BikeBox Parts Final Value Fee is calculated as follows:

6.6% + $0.30 on the total amount paid by the buyer before tax

The fee is calculated on:

• Item price (sale amount)
• Shipping costs paid by buyer
• Any handling fees
• Before any applicable taxes are added

2. When Fees Are Charged

Final Value Fees are automatically deducted from a seller's payout when:

• A transaction is completed successfully
• Payment is processed by the buyer

No Final Value Fee is charged to the customer at checkout.

3. Fee Collection and Payment Processing

Fees are collected through our integrated payment system. Sellers will receive the net amount (total payment minus Final Value Fee) according to our standard payout schedule.

All fees are processed in USD unless otherwise specified. Currency conversion fees may apply for international transactions.

4. Refunds and Fee Adjustments

If a transaction is canceled, refunded, or disputed:

• Final Value Fees are generally refunded, but may or may not be refunded at our discretion
• Partial refunds will result in proportional fee adjustments
• Processing fees may not be refundable depending on payment method
• We reserve the right to retain fees for completed services rendered

5. Compliance with Google Merchant Standards

Our fee structure complies with Google Merchant Center requirements and policies. All fees are:

• Clearly disclosed before transaction completion
• Calculated transparently with no hidden charges
• Applied consistently across all qualifying transactions
• Documented in internal transaction records

6. Fee Changes and Updates

We reserve the right to modify our fee structure at any time. Changes will be:

• Posted on this page with updated effective dates
• Communicated to active sellers via email notification
• Applied to new transactions after the effective date

7. Limitation of Liability

BikeBox Parts shall not be liable for:

• Payment processing delays or failures by third-party providers
• Currency conversion fluctuations or associated fees
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to fee collection
• Technical errors in fee calculation, except to correct such errors when identified

Our maximum liability for any fee-related dispute shall not exceed the amount of fees charged for the specific transaction in question.

8. Dispute Resolution

Fee-related disputes should be submitted through our customer support system. We will review all disputes in good faith but reserve final discretion on fee-related matters.

9. Additional Terms

These Final Value Fee terms are subject to and incorporated into our main Terms of Service. In case of conflict, these specific fee terms shall prevail for fee-related matters.

Continued use of the BikeBox Parts platform constitutes acceptance of these fee terms and any updates.

10. Tax Considerations

Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations related to sales and fees. BikeBox Parts does not provide tax advice. Consult a tax professional for guidance on deducting platform fees as business expenses.
